PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with such the problems that when an electric vehicle range extender which is driven by a gas turbine is used as means for absorbing excess regenerative power which is generated while exceeding a power amount for charging a battery at a regenerative braking of a vehicle, and when the battery is ready for quick charging in order to effectively recover regenerative power as far as possible, drive stops of the gas turbine frequently occur when a SOC (State of Charge) of the battery is high, and accordingly, when a bearing of the gas turbine is an air bearing, a mechanical contact state arises at a stop, a friction slide occurs at an initial stage of activation, and when the number of times of the stops and starts is increased, durability of the bearing is impaired.SOLUTION: When absorption becomes unnecessary from a state that absorption of excess regenerative power is performed, a gas turbine is electrically driven for a prescribed extension time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】ガスタービンによる電動車輌用レンジエクステンダーを車輌の回生制動時にバッテリを充電する電力量を越えて発生した余剰回生電力を吸収する手段とするとき、回生電力をできるだけ有効に回収すべくバッテリが即充電されるようになっていると、バッテリのSOCが高いときガスタービンの駆動停止が頻繁になる。ガスタービンの軸受が空気軸受であると停止時には機械的接触状態となり、起動の初期には摩擦摺動が生じ、停止、起動の回数が増大すると、軸受の耐久性が損なわれる。この問題に対処する。【解決手段】余剰回生電力の吸収が実行されている状態から吸収の必要がなくなったとき、ガスタービンを所定の猶予時間だけ電動駆動する。【選択図】図4
