PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control drive force of four wheels so as to minimize a grand total of energy consumed by the four-wheel tires slipping on the respective contact surfaces in a four-wheel-drive vehicle in which drive force is applied to left-right front wheels and left-right rear wheels mutually independently.SOLUTION: A drive force control apparatus, used for controlling drive force applied to four wheels by controlling a drive force application device (an in-wheel motor and a friction control device) that applies drive force to left-right front wheels and left-right rear wheels mutually independently, performs: computing vehicle speeds Vat positions of the four wheels, four-wheel contact loads Fzand driver-requiring drive force Fx (S30-S50); computing four-wheel target drive force Ffor unifying tire-slipping vector of the four wheels on the basis of the aforementioned computation results (S60); and controlling the drive force application device so that the four-wheel drive force equals the target drive force (S70).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】左右前輪及び左右後輪に相互に独立して駆動力が付与される四輪駆動車両において、四輪のタイヤが接地面においてすべることにより消費されるエネルギーの総和が最小になるように、四輪の駆動力を制御する。【解決手段】左右前輪及び左右後輪に相互に独立して駆動力を付与する駆動力付与装置(インホイールモータ及び摩擦制動装置)を制御することにより四輪に付与される駆動力を制御する駆動力制御装置である。駆動力制御装置は、四輪の位置における車体速度Vj、四輪の接地荷重Fzj及び運転者の要求駆動力Fxを演算しS30〜50、それらに基づいて四輪のタイヤすべりベクトルを同一にするための四輪の目標駆動力Fxjを演算しS60、四輪の駆動力がそれぞれ対応する目標駆動力になるように駆動力付与装置を制御するS70。【選択図】図2
