PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat frame which has a light weight and a high strength.SOLUTION: A seat frame 9 constituting a skeleton structure for a vehicular seat. The seat frame 9 is formed in such a manner that one frame main body 12 is formed by bending one cylindrical member 54, and then, required additional processing of said one frame main body is performed. The whole or a part of said one cylindrical member 54 is so formed as to have a closed cross-sectional shape in such a manner that bending processing (first, second, third) of one long flat plate member 51 is performed from a direction perpendicular to a longer direction whereby end edges of the flat plate member are so made as to face each other, and said end edges are joined to each other by weldment (Y1, Y2). At least a part of the frame main body 12 has a rectangular cross-sectional shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】軽量で安価で強度が高いシートフレームを提供する。【解決手段】車両用シートの骨組構造となるシートフレーム9である。シートフレーム9は、1つの筒状部材54を曲げることによって形成された1つのフレーム主体12に所要の追加工を施して形成される。1つの筒状部材54は、1つの長い平板部材51を長手方向に対する直角方向から曲げ加工(1st,、2nd,3rd)することによって互いに対面することになった端縁同士を溶接(Y1,Y2)によって接合することによって全体あるいは一部分が閉断面形状に形成されている。フレーム主体12の少なくとも一部の断面形状は矩形状である。【選択図】図5
