PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress rise of a temperature in an engine room, particularly, to avoid useless temperature elevation of a peripheral device thereby further enhancing reliability of the peripheral device.SOLUTION: In constituting a cooling device 1 for an engine of a vehicle comprising a radiator 2 for cooling an engine E as a power source for a vehicle by a coolant and a cooling fan 3 which passes outdoor air A for heat exchanging through the radiator 2 thereby cooling the coolant, an auxiliary ventilation path 5 is provided. The auxiliary ventilation path is so configured that a ventilation outlet 5e is so made as to face blast on an upstream side or a downstream side of the cooling fan 3, and a ventilation inlet 5i is so made as to face non-heat exchange outdoor air As which does not pass through the radiator 2, whereby non-heat exchange outdoor air Qs of air quantity Qs, which is less than air quantity Qr which passes through the radiator 2, is discharged into blast on the upstream side or the downstream side of the cooling fan 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
