PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleep detection device capable of eliminating influence of wink or disturbance light and improving detection accuracy and responsiveness.SOLUTION: A sleep detection device comprises: means (12) for detecting opening degrees of eyelids, based on a both eyes image of a subject; means (13) for recording the opening degrees of both eyelids, at a predetermined frame rate as time series data; and sleep determination means (14, 15, 17) for, extracting a boundary frame (k) in which, a separation degree (η) between the time series data (μ1) in a preceding group and time series data (μ2) in a subsequent group becomes maximum, as a start time of closing eyes, the boundary frame (k) for dividing a predetermined continuous number of detection target frames (N) containing a latest frame of the time series data into the preceding group (C1) and the subsequent group (C2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 瞬きや外乱光などの影響を排除し、検出精度および応答性を向上可能な居眠り検知装置を提供する。【解決手段】 対象者の両眼画像から瞼開度を検出する手段(12)と、前記瞼開度を所定フレームレートで時系列データとして記録する手段(13)と、前記時系列データの最新フレームを含む連続した所定数の検知対象フレーム(N)を先行グループ(C1)と後続グループ(C2)に区分する境界フレーム(k)であって、前記先行グループの時系列データ(μ1)と前記後続グループの時系列データ(μ2)との分離度(η)が最大となるような境界フレーム(k)を閉眼開始時刻として抽出する居眠り判定手段(14,15,17)を備えた。【選択図】 図1
