PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction machine as an elevator traction machine in which temperature rise of a bearing is reduced by suppressing a frictional heat generated by the rotation of a shaft during operation.SOLUTION: The traction machine comprises two bearings for rotatably supporting a shaft of a motor, two bearing support parts for respectively supporting the outer circumferences of the two bearings, a support base for supporting the motor and the two bearing support parts, and a control device for controlling an operation condition of the motor. The traction machine further comprises a temperature measuring instrument for measuring a temperature of an outer race of a bearing on a side remote from the motor, of the two bearings or a temperature of a bearing support part for supporting the bearing, and a table heating device installed on the support table and heating the support table. The control device causes the table heating device to operate on the basis of the measured value of the temperature measuring instrument.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 エレベータ用の巻上機において、稼働中に軸の回転によって発生する摩擦熱を抑制して、軸受の温度上昇が少ない巻上機を得る。【解決手段】 モータの軸を回転可能に支持する二つの軸受と、二つの軸受の外周をそれぞれ支持する二つの軸受支持部と、モータおよび二つの軸受支持部を支持する支持台と、モータの運転状態を制御する制御装置とを備え、さらに、二つの軸受のうちモータから遠い側の軸受の外輪の温度または該軸受を支持する軸受支持台の温度を測定する温度測定器と、支持台に設置されて支持台を加熱する台加熱装置とを備え、制御装置は、温度測定器の測定値をもとに台加熱装置を動作させる。【選択図】 図1
