PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber heat insulation sound-absorbing body that can realize reduction of weight when the sound-absorbing body is made with glass fibers and that is suitable for tire noises with frequencies of 500 Hz to 1000 Hz, and a method for using the body.SOLUTION: A glass fiber heat insulation sound-absorbing body 1 has a sound-absorbing layer 2 and a sound insulating layer 3 as glass fiber products. The sound-absorbing layer 2 has a density of 20 kg/mto 100 kg/mdue to glass fibers with a thickness of 5 mm to 30 mm and a diameter of 3 μm to 5 μm. The sound insulating layer 3 has a density of 40 kg/mto 180 kg/mdue to glass fibers with a thickness of 3 mm to 10 mm and a diameter of 5 μm to 7 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】ガラス繊維を用いて吸音体を形成しても軽量化を実現でき、500Hz〜1000Hzの周波数を有するタイヤ騒音の吸音に適したガラス繊維断熱吸音体及びその使用方法を提供する。【解決手段】ガラス繊維断熱吸音体1は、ガラス繊維成形品である吸音層2及び遮音層3を備え、前記吸音層2は、5mm〜30mmの厚みを有し且つ直径が3μm〜5μmのガラス繊維によって20kg/m3〜100kg/m3の密度を有し、前記遮音層3は、3mm〜10mmの厚みを有し且つ直径が5μm〜7μmのガラス繊維によって40kg/m3〜180kg/m3の密度を有している。【選択図】 図1
