PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a possibility that a preceding vehicle A backs when starting on an uphill to a driver of a vehicle B behind the vehicle A.SOLUTION: A navigation device 10A of a preceding vehicle A communicates with a navigation device 10B of a vehicle B behind the vehicle A. The navigation devices 10 accumulate gradient values and backing distances when vehicles start on an uphill. When stopping on an uphill, the preceding vehicle A detects a gradient value and acquires information on a backing distance close to the gradient value from the accumulated information, and transmits information according to the information on the backing distance to the vehicle B behind the vehicle A.
