PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve motor retention ability of a motor retention member in an electric retractable visual recognition device for a vehicle.SOLUTION: An electric storage unit 16 has a rotor 16b. The rotor 16b has a plate outer (a motor retention member) 68 which retains a motor body part 69 of a motor 76. The plate outer 68 has a cylindrical part 72 and a claw engagement piece 139. The motor body part 69 is stored in an internal space 129 of the cylindrical part 72. The claw engagement piece 139 engages with a rear end surface (an engaged portion) 69b of the motor body part 69 stored in the cylindrical part 72 to lock axial movement of the motor 76. An engagement surface 143a of an engagement claw 143 of the claw engagement piece 139 is disposed closer to a back side of the internal space 129 than an opening end 129a of the internal space 129 of the cylindrical part 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
