PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an arrangement structure of a peripheral information detection sensor which maintains good detection accuracy of the peripheral information detection sensor without impairing the appearance of a vehicle, and to obtain an automatic operation vehicle.SOLUTION: An arrangement structure of a peripheral information detection sensor includes: a peripheral information detection sensor 34 attached to a vehicle outer side in a vehicle skeleton member 16 having a closed cross section structure and including a detection part 34A which detects peripheral information of a vehicle; and a cover 28 which covers the peripheral information detection sensor 34 from the vehicle outer side and allows a detection medium used for detection by the detection part 34A to penetrate therethrough.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
