PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contactor controller capable of suppressing power consumption necessary for holding the ON-state of a contactor on an electric circuit between a motor and an inverter in an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A contactor controller includes a plurality of positive-electrode side contactors 11 and 12 arranged in parallel to each other on the positive-electrode side of an electric circuit between a battery 20 and an inverter 21 included in an electric vehicle, negative-electrode side contactors 14 and 15 arranged in parallel to each other on the negative-electrode side of the circuit and equal in number to the positive-electrode side contactors 11 and 12, and an ECU 17 for controlling connection/disconnection of the positive-electrode side contactors 11 and 12 and the negative-electrode side contactors 14 and 15 in such a manner that the numbers of the positive-electrode side contactors 11 and 12 and the negative-electrode side contactors 14 and 15 to be set in a connected state are increased/decreased according to the value of a current flowing through the circuit, and one positive-electrode side contactor 11 (12) and one negative-electrode side contactor 14 (15) is always set in a connected state during the activation of the electric vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】電動車両におけるモータ‐インバータ間の電気回路上のコンタクタの、ON状態を保持するために必要な消費電力を、抑制することを可能とする、コンタクタ制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】電動車両に備わるバッテリ20とインバータ21間の電気回路の正極側に、互いに並列に配設された、複数の正極側コンタクタ11,12と、前記回路の負極側に、互いに並列に配設された、正極側コンタクタ11,12と同数の負極側コンタクタ14,15と、接状態とする正極側コンタクタ11,12及び負極側コンタクタ14,15の個数を、前記回路を流れる電流値に応じて増減させ、1つの正極側コンタクタ11(12)及び1つの負極側コンタクタ14(15)は、電動車両の起動中に常時接状態とするように、各正極側コンタクタ11,12及び各負極側コンタクタ14,15の接断を制御するECU17とを備える。【選択図】図1
