PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a stable posture during a period of transiting from horizontal flight to hovering or descending, or from vertical takeoff or hovering to horizontal flight.SOLUTION: A vertical takeoff and landing flying body includes: a first main wing 200 composed of a left wing and a right wing and attached to a front part of an airframe 100; a second main wing 600 composed of a left wing and a right wing and attached to a rear part of the airframe; a third main wing 500 composed of a left wing and a right wing and attached to a center part of the airframe; engines 300, 310, 320, 330, 350, 360 arranged by at least two engines on each of the main wings, at an approximately longitudinal center position of the respective left and right wings of the first main wing, second main wing and third main wing; flaps 211, 221, 231, 241, 251, 261 each provided in the rear of each engine and for controlling ascending/descending of the airframe; and rudders each provided in the rear of each engine and for controlling a traveling direction of the airframe. The first main wing, the second main wing and the third main wing are configured to be pivotally moved vertically or horizontally in an integral manner with the engines, flaps and rudders.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
