PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a power storage system and storage battery electric vehicle, that are capable of simultaneously balancing inter-cell balance in serial connection with balance of parallel connection without adding a special circuit.SOLUTION: A power storage system is constituted by a plurality of battery packs connected in parallel. Each battery pack is constituted by a plurality of battery cells connected in series. The power storage system comprises a balancing control unit for performing equalization of power storage capacity with respect to respective battery cells in each battery pack and with respect to the respective battery packs. The balancing control unit calculates a first discharge amount of electricity to be discharged, in order to perform equalization of power storage capacity with respect to respective battery cells in each battery pack, by each battery cell, for each battery cell; calculates a first discharge amount summation to be discharged by each battery pack, for each battery pack, by summing up first discharge amounts; and calculates a second discharge amount of electricity to be discharged, in order to perform equalization of power storage capacity with respect to the respective battery packs, by each battery cell, on the basis of the first discharge amounts of electricity and the first discharge amount summation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】特別な回路を追加することなく、直列内のセル間バランスと、並列間のバランスとを同時にバランシングし得る蓄電システム及び蓄電池電車を提案する。【解決手段】複数の組電池が並列に接続して構成される蓄電システムにおいて、各組電池は、複数の電池セルが直列に接続して構成されており、各組電池内の各電池セル間及び各組電池間の蓄電容量を均等化するバランシング制御部を備え、バランシング制御部は、各組電池内の各電池セル間の蓄電容量を均等化するために各電池セルが放電すべき第1の放電電気量を電池セルごとに算出し、第1の放電電気量を合算して、各組電池が放電すべき第1の放電電気量総和を組電池ごとに算出し、第1の放電電気量及び第1の放電電気量総和に基づいて、各組電池間の蓄電容量を均等化するために各電池セルが放電すべき第2の放電電気量を算出することを特徴とする。【選択図】図2
