PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to accurately detect occurrence of an accident and notify a user of an accident response guidance.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle system comprises: a smart device that comprises first acceleration detection means for detecting acceleration and communication means for communicating with an external apparatus and is possessed by a user; and an on-vehicle device that comprises second acceleration detection means for detecting acceleration and transmission means for transmitting the acceleration detected by the second acceleration detection means to the smart device and is fixed to a vehicle. The smart device includes: determination means for determining whether or not acceleration equal to or higher than a first threshold has been detected by the first acceleration detection means and acceleration equal to or higher than a second threshold has been detected by the second acceleration detection means; and notification means for notifying the user of an accident response guidance when it is determined by the determination means that acceleration equal to or higher than the first threshold has been detected by the first acceleration detection means and acceleration equal to or higher than the second threshold has been detected by the second acceleration detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
