PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adjustment mechanism of an elevator position detection device, in which work for adjusting a relative position between a switch and a detection body can be easily performed.SOLUTION: The adjustment mechanism of an elevator position detection device comprises: a switch (31) provided in one of a hoistway (2) and a lifting body (5); a detection body (32) which is provided in the other of the hoistway (2) and the lifting body (5), passes through the inside of a groove (35) of the switch (31) following the upward/downward movement of the lifting body (5), and allows the position thereof along a depth direction of the groove (35) with respect to the switch (31) to be adjusted; and a penetration part (55) provided in the detection body (32). A position adjustment member (56) having a guide surface (57) in contact with tips of arm parts (34a, 34b) of the switch (31) is removably inserted into the penetration part (55). The detection body (32) is fixed to the other of the hoistway (2) and the lifting body (5) at a position where the guide surface (57) of the position adjustment member (56) inserted into the penetration part (55) is in contact with the tips of the arm parts (34a, 34b).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
