PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross member gusset capable of using the gussets of similar shapes for any of both left and right sides.SOLUTION: Left and right side members 2 extend back and forth on both sides in a car width direction, and each side member 2 has a bent part 6. The left and right side members 2 are bent at left and right bent parts 6 symmetrically in the car width direction. A cross member 3 extends in the car width direction between the left and right bent parts 6, and respective left and right gussets 4 are fixed at the left and right ends of the cross member 3 to couple together the left and right ends of the cross member 3 and the left and right bent parts 6. The gussets 4 are surface-symmetrical with a bending angle equal dividing surface 10 roughly bisecting the bending angle θi of the bent part 6 in the state of being coupled to the bent part 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
