PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight and compact traffic signal machine easily discriminated from a street lamp and installable even in a narrow space, and enabling a driver or a passer-by passing a side walk to instantaneously determine the signal when he/she sees the signal light of the traffic signal machine without making any erroneous recognition caused by reflection on direct sunlight.SOLUTION: The light of a signal machine is configured by including three green (blue), yellow and red elements in one LED and using a plurality of LEDs. The green (blue), yellow and red circular shapes of the light are vertically or horizontally combined to be continuous, and the light is lit by a controller. Further, the direction arrows of curve shapes are added to the light, and sequentially lit in an optical direction with the center axis of the red or yellow circle set as an origin. In other words, the light is turned ON while forming the direction arrows bit by bit, and turned OFF sequentially bit by bit when being turned off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16

    【課題】ドライバーや歩道を渡る通行人が交通信号機の信号灯器(以下ライトという)を見た場合に、瞬時に判断でき、直射日光に反射して誤認することがなく、軽量、かつ、コンパクトで、街灯との識別が容易で、狭い空間にも設置可能な交通信号機を提供する。【解決手段】一個のLEDに緑(青)、黄、赤の三つの素子を内臓し、そのLEDを複数個使用して信号機のライトを構成する。そのライトの緑(青)、黄、赤の円形を縦又は横に絡み連なった形状にし、そのライトを制御機器により点灯させる。更に、そのライトに曲線形状の方向矢印を加え、その方向矢印は赤又は黄の円の中心軸を基点に任意の方向に順次点灯する。つまり、方向矢印を順次小刻みに形成しながら点灯し、消える時も順次小刻みに消灯する。消える前には、従来の黄ライトに相当するために、その方向矢印を点滅する。【選択図】図16
