PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appliance control device for a vehicle that is capable of applying stimulation to a passenger of a vehicle with proper strength according to a contact state of the passenger.SOLUTION: An appliance control device for a vehicle comprises: a vibration motor 28 for applying vibration as stimulation which a passenger can perceive by somatic sensation via a shift knob which comes in contact with the passenger; a capacitance sensor 22 for detecting capacitance as the contact state of the passenger with the shift knob; and a control unit 24 for controlling driving of the vibration motor 28 so as to apply vibration of a predetermined strength to the passenger, according to the capacitance detected by the capacitance sensor 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
