PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmission mechanism which can achieve a bicycle or the like which is excellent in usability as compared with conventional ones.SOLUTION: A rotation transmission mechanism 1 comprises an internal rotary member 3 inserted into a crank shaft 2 of a bicycle, and an external rotary member 4 disposed in the internal rotary member 3 rotatably. The internal rotary member 3 comprises a disk-like internal rotary member body 3a having a crank shaft insertion hole, and five outer peripheral projections 3f which are formed integrally with the internal rotary member body 3a and project to the outer peripheral side of the internal rotary member body 3a. The external rotary member 4 comprises an annular part disposed rotatably in the internal rotary member 3 outside the outer peripheral projections 3f, and five inner peripheral projections 4d which are formed integrally with the annular part so as to protrude to the inner periphery side of the annular part, and are arranged alternately with the outer peripheral projections 3f. Elastic deformation parts 6 are disposed between the outer peripheral projections 3f and the inner peripheral projections 4d on a rotation direction side of the outer peripheral projections 3f when advancing. In the outer peripheral projection 3f, a surface on the rotation direction side is wider than a surface opposite to the rotation direction side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】従来よりも使用性に優れた自転車等を実現することが可能な回転伝達機構を提供する。【解決手段】回転伝達機構1は、自転車のクランク軸2に挿通される内部回転部材3と、内部回転部材3に回動自在に配設される外部回転部材4と、を備えている。内部回転部材3は、クランク軸挿通孔を有する円盤状の内部回転部材本体3aと、内部回転部材本体3aに一体形成され内部回転部材本体3aの外周側に突出する5つの外周凸部3fと、を備えている。外部回転部材4は、外周凸部3fの外側で内部回転部材3に回動自在に配設された円環部と、前記円環部の内周側に突出するように前記円環部に一体形成され外周凸部3fと交互に配置された5つの内周凸部4dと、を備えている。外周凸部3fと前進する際の外周凸部3fの回転方向側の内周凸部4dとの間に弾性変形部6が配設されている。外周凸部3fは、回転方向側の面が回転方向と反対側の面よりも広くなっている。【選択図】図6
