PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic crawler and an elastic crawler drive mechanism which improve the durability of the elastic crawler and a sprocket.SOLUTION: In an elastic crawler 10 and an elastic crawler drive mechanism 100, a plurality of engagement parts 12 are disposed in an endless belt-shaped body 11, and the engagement parts 12 can be engaged with teeth 22 of a sprocket 20. A trajectory drawn by the outer edge of the engagement parts 14 from the starting at which the engagement parts 12 advances to tooth grooves of the sprocket 20 to the completion of the engagements between the engagement parts 12 and the teeth 22, and a trajectory drawn by the outer edge of the engagement part 12 from the starting at which the engagement parts 12 releases the engagements with the teeth 22 to the completion of the releasing are respectively prevented from going out of the outer edge of the engagement parts 12 when the engagements are completed. Therefore, at least a portion of the outer edge of the engagement parts 12 is in an arc-shaped cross-section shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】弾性クローラおよびスプロケットの耐久性を向上させた、弾性クローラおよび弾性クローラ駆動機構を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、無端帯状体11に複数の係合部12が配設され、当該係合部12がスプロケット20の歯22と係合可能な弾性クローラ10および弾性クローラ駆動機構100である。係合部12がスプロケット20の歯溝に進入を開始してから係合部12と歯22との係合が完了するまでに係合部14の外縁が描く軌跡と、係合部12が歯22との係合を解除し始めてから当該解除が完了するまでに係合部12の外縁が描く軌跡とが、それぞれ、前記係合の完了時における係合部12の外縁よりも外側にはみ出さないように、係合部12の外縁の少なくとも一部を断面円弧形とした。【選択図】図1
