PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator apparatus and an assembling method thereof comprising wind a rectification cover having excellent workability upon assembling and capable of exerting sufficient wind noise preventing effect.SOLUTION: In an elevator apparatus comprising a cage 1 and a balance weight, rectification covers 3A, 3B have a tapered off shape in direction opposing to a cage at upper and lower part of the cage. The rectification covers are consisting of a pair of front and rear plates 5A, 5B arranged at a position extended from front and rear surfaces of the cage along with longitudinal direction of cage; a pair of side plates arranged at a position extended from right and left side surfaces of the cage along with longitudinal direction of the cage; and 4 corner curved plates connecting the front and rear plates and the side plates 6A, 6B. The corner curved plates have a shape in which one end is tapered off along with longitudinal direction and which provide no corner parts between the front and rear plates and the side plates as well as the front and rear plates and the cage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】組立時の作業性が良く、かつ風切り音防止効果を十分に得ることができる整風カバ−を備えたエレベーター装置及びその組立方法を提供する。【解決手段】乗りかご1と釣合おもりとを備えたエレベーター装置において、乗りかごの上部及び下部には、乗りかごと反対の方向に向かって先細りとなる形状を有する整風カバー3A、3Bが設置され、整風カバーは、乗りかごの前面及び後面を乗りかごの長手方向に沿って延長した位置に設置された一対の前後部板5A、5Bと、乗りかごの左右の側面を乗りかごの長手方向に沿って延長した位置に設置された一対の側方部板と、前後部板と側方部板6A、6Bとを連結する4枚の角部曲面板と、からなり、角部曲面板は、一端が長手方向に沿って先細りとなる形状を有し、前後部板と側方部板との間及び前後部板と乗りかごとの間に角部が生じないことを特徴とする整風カバー。【選択図】図2
