PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic shaft having excellent assemblability.SOLUTION: A telescopic shaft 1 includes: an inner shaft 10 forming a pair of recess grooves 11 opposite to a shaft right-angle direction R and extending in an axial direction X; an outer shaft 20 forming a pair of recess grooves 21 opposite to the shaft right-angle direction R and extending in the axial direction X; a plurality of rolling bodies 30 arranged between corresponding recess grooves 11, 21 and aligned in the axial direction X; a pair of stoppers 41; and a buffer unit 50. Each stopper 41 prevents a rolling body 30e at the end part of a corresponding row from falling from a corresponding recess groove 11 of the inner shaft 10. The buffer unit 50 integrally contains a pair of buffers 51 and a connection part 52 connecting between the pair of buffers 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
