PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device which can improve the timing of the execution of a failure diagnosis of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: This electronic control device controls the drive of a vehicle having an internal combustion engine and an electric motor as drive sources. The electric control device comprises a cruising distance calculation part which calculates a cruising distance which a vehicle can travel with the electric motor as the drive source from a power residual amount of a battery which supplies power to the electric motor, a diagnosis part which diagnoses a diagnosis object included in the internal combustion engine, and a control part which controls the internal combustion engine. Then, the control part forcibly drives the diagnosis object on condition that the cruising distance reaches a threshold distance or shorter, and commands the diagnosis part to diagnose the diagnosis object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】内燃機関の故障診断の実施タイミングを改善することのできる電子制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】この電子制御装置は、内燃機関と電動機とを駆動源とする車両の駆動を制御する。電子制御装置は、電動機に電力を供給するバッテリの電力残量から電動機を駆動力として走行が可能な航続距離を算出する航続距離算出部と、内燃機関に含まれるダイアグ対象をダイアグするダイアグ部と、内燃機関を制御する制御部と、を備る。そして、制御部は、航続距離が所定の閾値距離以下となることを条件に、ダイアグ対象を強制的に駆動するとともに、ダイアグ部に対してダイアグ対象のダイアグを実施するように指示する。【選択図】図3
