PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine room cooling system which is not easily influenced by the outside air environment and can efficiently cool the engine room of a ship.SOLUTION: Atomized water is sprayed in the inside of a ship 100 to cool an engine room 1 by the heat of vaporization of the atomized water. Drain water of an air conditioner in a living quarter is used as the atomized water. The atomized water is sprayed on the heat radiation part of a main engine 2 installed in the engine room 1 and near an air-cooled type pump installed in the engine room 1. The atomized water also sprayed into a void space between the engine room 1 and the hull outer plate to circulate the air of the void space and the air of the engine room. In addition, the atomized water is sprayed in the inside of a cooling device installed in the engine room 1 to make the air of the engine room 1 pass through the inside of the cooling device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】外気環境による影響を受けにくく、船舶の機関室を効率的に冷却することの可能な機関室冷却システムを提供する。【解決手段】船舶100内部に霧状の水を散布し、霧状の水の気化熱により機関室1を冷却する。霧状の水として、居住区エアコンのドレン水を使用する。また、霧状の水を機関室1に設置された主機関2の放熱部位や、機関室1に設置された空冷式ポンプの近傍に散布する。また、霧状の水を機関室1と船体外板との間のボイドスペースに散布し、ボイドスペースの空気と機関室の空気とを循環させる。また、霧状の水を機関室1に設置された冷却装置の内部に散布し、冷却装置の内部に機関室1の空気を通過させる。【選択図】図1
