PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fuel consumption without making a driver feel uncomfortable even when power generation is restricted due to a temperature rise of a battery.SOLUTION: A battery cooling structure for a hybrid vehicle includes: an engine 10 and a motor generator 13 for generating power for traveling in accordance with the depressed amount of an accelerator pedal 3; a battery 15 that is accommodated in a battery chamber 20 and is used for supply of electric power to the motor generator 13 or for charging of electric power from the motor generator 13; motor generator control means 17 for controlling the motor generator 13 to generate electric power by using driving force from the wheel side; and an air conditioner 30 for air-conditioning a cabin. The air conditioner 30 can be operated by the driving force from the wheel side and includes a duct 43 for the battery for guiding air-conditioned air from the air conditioner 30 to the battery chamber 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
