PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat back that exhibits excellent cushioning properties when a person is in a seated or supine position, and that achieves weight saving, and is superior in recyclability.SOLUTION: The vehicular seat back comprises: a seat back pad including a singular plate-like backrest surface support body that is made of synthetic resin foam whose bending deflection amount measured according to a method described in JIS K7221-2:2006 is 20 mm or more and whose load at the 20 mm deflection is 2-100 N, that has a backrest surface against which a body abuts when seated, and that bends and deforms rearward; and an elastic body that allows the backrest surface support body to bend and deform rearward of the backrest surface support body of the seat back pad, and that exhibits a damping property by being compressed and deformed with respect to the bending deformation of the backrest surface support body caused by the load of a seated person.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】人の着座時や仰臥時にクッション性に富み、軽量化を実現でき、リサイクル性に優れる車両用シートバックを提供することである。【解決手段】JIS K7221−2:2006記載の方法に準じて測定した曲げ撓み量が20mm以上、かつ20mm撓み時の荷重が2〜100Nの合成樹脂発泡体からなる単数の板状の、着座時に身体が当接する背凭れ面を有し後方に曲げ変形する背凭れ面支持体を備えたシートバックパッドと、前記シートバックパッドの背凭れ面支持体の後方に前記背凭れ面支持体の曲げ変形を可能とし、かつ着座者の荷重による前記背凭れ面支持体の曲げ変形に対して圧縮変形して減衰性を有する弾性体と、を備えることにより課題解決できた。【選択図】図3
