PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire inspection device and a tire inspection method in which a tire surface can be inspected more easily without using reference data, when inspecting a convexoconcave state of the tire surface.SOLUTION: A tire inspection device 100 inspects a convexoconcave state of a tire surface including a design portion. The tire inspection device 100 comprises: a surface data acquisition section 110 which acquires surface data containing convexoconcave values of the tire surface; a differential processing section 120 which applies differential processing to the convexoconcave values contained in the surface data and acquires differential data; a high-frequency wave removal section 130 which acquires high-frequency wave removed data in which a high-frequency wave component defined by the design portion is removed from the differential data; and a detection section 140 which detects a defective portion of the tire surface on the basis of the high-frequency wave removed data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 タイヤ表面の凹凸状態を検査する際に、基準データを用いることなく、より簡易にタイヤ表面を検査することが可能なタイヤ検査装置及びタイヤ検査方法を提供する。【解決手段】 本発明に係るタイヤ検査装置100は、デザイン部分を含むタイヤ表面の凹凸状態を検査する。タイヤ検査装置100は、タイヤ表面の凹凸値を含む表面データを取得する表面データ取得部110と、表面データに含まれる凹凸値に微分処理を施して、微分データを取得する微分処理部120と、微分データからデザイン部分によって規定される高周波成分を除去した高周波除去データを取得する高周波除去部130と、高周波除去データに基づいて、タイヤ表面の不良部分を検出する検出部140とを有する。【選択図】 図1
