PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for pedestrians which has a simple structure and properly inhibits a pillar cover part from swinging to the outer side in a crosswise direction at an early phase of inflation of an airbag.SOLUTION: An airbag 27 includes: a bag body 28 which is inflated by an inflation gas flowing thereinto; and restriction members 45 which restrict behaviour of the bag body 28 during expansion and inflation. The bag body 28 includes: a cowl cover part 30; and two pillar cover parts 34 extending from both ends of the cowl cover part 30 to the rear side. Each restriction member 45 is disposed so as to connect an end part 34c side of each pillar cover part 34, which is located at a cowl cover part 30 side, to a rear edge 30a side of the cowl cover part 30. Each restriction member 45 includes a coupling part 46 formed by coupling a pillar cover part side coupling portion and a cowl cover part side coupling portion, which are spaced a predetermined distance from each other, in a state where the restriction member 45 is flatly expanded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12

    【課題】簡便な構成として、エアバッグの膨張初期に、ピラーカバー部の左右方向の外方への揺動を的確に抑制可能な歩行者用エアバッグ装置を提供すること。【解決手段】エアバッグ27が、内部に膨張用ガスを流入させて膨張するバッグ本体28と、バッグ本体28の展開膨張時の挙動を規制する規制部材45と、を備える。バッグ本体28が、カウルカバー部30と、カウルカバー部30の両端から後方に延びる2つのピラーカバー部34と、を備える。規制部材45が、バッグ本体28の膨張完了時に、各ピラーカバー部34のカウルカバー部30側の縁部34c側と、カウルカバー部30の後縁30a側と、をそれぞれ連結するように配置される。規制部材45が、それぞれ、平らに展開した状態において、所定距離離隔して配置されるピラーカバー部側結合部位とカウルカバー部側結合部位とを結合させて構成される結合部46を、備える。【選択図】図12
