PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower rail which is light-weight and has high rigidity.SOLUTION: A lower rail 20 is used in a seat rail device 100 in which an upper rail 10 is slidably provided. The lower rail 20 includes: an inner lower rail 30 having groove-like recessed parts, each of which has an opening part formed narrower than an interior part, on side surfaces; and a cover member 40 which is formed so as to cover at least a bottom surface and parts of both side surfaces of the inner lower rail and has fitting parts which may fit in the groove-like recessed parts so as not to be removed from the groove-like recessed parts in a separation direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
