PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To employ an outer pin housing 50 of a cycloid type speed reducer B of an in-wheel motor drive device 21, in which installation of inside components of the speed reducer B is easily performed, and machining is also easily performed with highly machining accuracy.SOLUTION: An outer pin housing 50 is formed by assembling fractured and divided halved bodies 50a, 50b; components of a speed reducer B are installed in a state where halved bodies 50a, 50b are made opened in right-and-left directions; the halved bodies 50a, 50b into which the components of the speed reducer B are installed are closed so as to make fracture division surfaces abut to each other; and the fractured and divided halved bodies 50a, 50b are integrally connected by a connection pin 60 or a stationary ring 59.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】 インホイールモータ駆動装置21のサイクロイド式の減速機Bの外ピンハウジング50として、減速機Bの内部部品の組み込みが容易に行え、加工も容易で加工精度の高いものを採用することを課題とする。【解決手段】 前記外ピンハウジング50を破断分割された半割り体50a、50bの組立てによって形成し、半割り体50a、50bを左右に開いた状態で減速機Bの構成部品を組込み、減速機Bの構成部品を組み込んだ半割り体50a、50bを破断分割面を合せて閉じ、連結ピン60又は固定リング59によって破断分割された半割り体50a、50bを一体に結合するようにした。【選択図】 図7
