PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device for an elevator which can fully illuminate the interior of a car while picking up a picture image or a projected image.SOLUTION: An illumination device located on a ceiling 3 in a car 1 of an elevator is so made as to be a liquid crystal display 7, a content to be displayed is so made as to be capable of being changed, and a content of a picture image or a projected image, which has such a percentage of daylight white and/or white of a picture image or a projected image which is displayed on the crystal display 7 that an illuminance required for the interior of the car 1 is generated, is selected according to a brightness of the crystal display 7 and an area of the crystal display 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】画像若しくは映像を映しつつ、乗りかご内を十分に明るくすることができるエレベーターの照明装置を提供する。【解決手段】エレベーター乗りかご1内の天井3に設置された照明装置を液晶ディスプレイ7とし、表示する内容を変更できるようにし、液晶ディスプレイ7の輝度、液晶ディスプレイ7の面積に応じて、乗りかご1内の必要な照度になるような液晶ディスプレイ7に表示する画像若しくは映像に占める昼白色及び/または白色の割合となる画像若しくは映像の内容を選定する。【選択図】図1
