PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake member having sufficient friction resistance and capable of braking main wheels properly even in a wheelchair using solid non-puncture tires.SOLUTION: A brake member 100 comprises a disc part 101. One plate surface of the disc part 101 is a brake disc surface 101a pressed against a part of a side peripheral surface of a non-puncture tire 2. A circular recess 110, whose depth direction is a plate thickness direction of the disc part 101 and center is a center axis of the disc part 101, is formed on the brake disc surface 101a. When the brake disc surface 101a is pressed against the non-puncture tire 2, an inner peripheral surface of the circular recess 110 and a periphery of the circular recess 110 are pressed against an outer peripheral surface of the non-puncture tire 2, thereby braking the main wheel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】中実のノーパンクタイヤが用いられた車いすであっても、十分な摩擦抵抗を備え、主車輪を適正に制動することができるブレーキ部材を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】ブレーキ部材100は、円板部101を有し、該円板部101の一方の板面が、ノーパンクタイヤ2の側周面の一部に圧接されるブレーキ板面101aとされており、さらに該ブレーキ板面101aには、該円板部101の板厚方向を深さ方向とし、かつ該円板部101の中心軸線を中心とする円形凹部110が形成され、該ブレーキ板面101aが該ノーパンクタイヤ2に圧接した際に、前記円形凹部110の内周面と該円形凹部110周辺とが、該ノーパンクタイヤ2の外周面に圧接し、前記主車輪が制動される。【選択図】図7
