PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening method and a fastening device capable of improving mass productivity in a short molding time and capable of restricting occurrence of deterioration or deformation of a fastened member.SOLUTION: A fastening method of this invention comprises a step (a) for holding a fastener 13 having a T-shaped section with a holding jig 14; a step (b) for rotating a holding jig or a fastener after holding the fastener; a step (c) for pushing a forming jig 15 having a recess 17 of larger diameter than those of fastening holes 11a, 12a of fastened members 11, 12 against the fastened members; a step (d) for rotating the fastener by the step (b) and pushing the fastener into a recess of the forming jig with a specified load; a step (e) for monitoring a pushing amount of the step (d); a step (f) for stopping rotation of the fastener by the step (e); and a step (g) for increasing a load of the step (e) before or after stopping rotation of the fastener by the step (f) and pushing it up to abutted against the fastened member, the fastener is flown in plastic to form a leg of protrusion shape at the fastener and fastened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】短い成形時間でより量産性を向上させることが可能で、かつ、被締結部材の劣化や変形の発生を抑制することができる締結方法及び締結装置を提供する。【解決手段】締結方法は、断面T字形状の締結具13を掴持治具14で掴持する工程(a)と、締結具が掴持されてから、掴持治具または締結具が回転する工程(b)と、被締結部材11,12の締結穴11a,12aより大きい径の凹部17を有した成形治具15を被締結部材に押し当てる工程(c)と、工程(b)により締結具を回転させ、締結具を成形治具の凹部に一定荷重で押し込む工程(d)と、工程(d)の押し込み量を監視する工程(e)と、工程(e)により締結具の回転を停止する工程(f)と、工程(f)により締結具の回転を停止する前後で工程(e)の荷重を増加させて被締結部材に当接するまで押し込む工程(g)とを有し、締結具を塑性流動させ、締結具に凸部形状の脚部を成形して締結する。【選択図】図1
