PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge device for discharging a capacitor connected to the positive and negative power lines thereacross in a power converter on a vehicle with two switches, which ensures the insulation between the power line and the vehicle body even when one switch gets a short-circuit failure.SOLUTION: A series circuit of two switches 15 and 16 is connected to a capacitor 13 in parallel, and a grounding prevention resistance 17 is connected across a connection point between the two switches and the vehicle body, and an insulation deterioration detector 18 is provided to detect and notify the deterioration of the insulation resistance between the positive or negative power line and the connection point. The grounding prevention resistance has a resistance value of at least 100 ohm or larger per 1 volt between the positive and negative power lines.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】2個のスイッチにより車載の電力変換器内にて正負の電力線の間に接続されているコンデンサを放電する放電装置において、一方のスイッチが短絡故障しても電力線と車体との間の絶縁性が確保される技術を提供する。【解決手段】2個のスイッチ15,16の直列回路がコンデンサ13と並列に接続されており、地絡防止抵抗17が2個のスイッチの間の接続点と車体との間に接続されており、正又は負の電力線と接続点との間の絶縁抵抗の低下を検知して報知する絶縁低下検知器18を備えている。そして、地絡防止抵抗は、正負の電力線間の電圧の1ボルト当たり少なくとも100オーム以上の抵抗値を有している。【選択図】図1
