PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen energy supply system capable of converting seawater into hydrogen energy to be utilized, by using electric energy generated in a power generation facility using ocean currents.SOLUTION: A hydrogen energy supply system 51 includes: 10 or more water wheel impeller type power generation devices 56 each of which is installed to a first floating body 52 that is moored through an anchor 55 and supported to float in the sea; a second floating body 58 which is floated on the sea surface and moored through anchors 57, uses electric power supplied from the power generation devices 56, and on which a seawater electrolysis device 60, a hydrogen liquefaction device 61, and a liquid hydrogen tank 62 are arranged, the seawater electrolysis device including electrolyzing means that generate hydrogen gas by electrolysis of the seawater W and is equal to or smaller than the power generation devices 56 in number; a hydrogen transporting ship 71 that transports the liquid hydrogen by sea to land; an overland liquid hydrogen tank 72 that stores the liquid hydrogen; a compact cylinder 73 that accommodates the liquid hydrogen; and a hydrogen transporting vehicle 74 that transports the compact cylinder 73 to a consumer 75 on land.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
