PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular control unit that can determine both an abnormality in the action of a motor and an abnormality that occurs when an external force acts on the output shaft of the motor.SOLUTION: A microcomputer 26 controls rotation of a motor 18 on the basis of a command signal sent from a host ECU. When the motor 18 is rotating, if a difference between a rotation angle of an output shaft 36 indicated by the command signal and a rotation angle of the output shaft 36 sensed by a rotation angle sensor 40 exceeds a predetermined range, the microcomputer 26 decides that the motor 18 is abnormal. When the motor 18 is stopped, if a difference between a rotation angle of an output shaft 46, which is stored in a previous value storage RAM 26A and was sensed by the rotation angle sensor 40 the last time the motor 18 was activated and then inactivated, and a rotation angle of the output shaft 36 sensed by the rotation angle sensor 40 exceeds a predetermined range, the microcomputer 26 decides that the output shaft is abnormal due to an action of an external force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】モータの動作の異常又はモータの出力軸に外力が作用した場合の異常を各々判別できる車両用制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】マイクロコンピュータ26は、上位ECUからの指令信号に基づいてモータ18の回転を制御すると共に、モータ18が回転中に、指令信号が示す出力軸36の回転角度と回転角度検知部40が検知した出力軸36の回転角度との差が所定範囲を超えた場合にモータ18が異常と判定する。また、マイクロコンピュータ26は、モータ18が停止中の場合には、前回値格納RAM26Aに記憶されているモータ18が前回作動して当該作動を停止したときに回転角度検知部40が検知した出力軸46の回転角と回転角度検知部40が検知した出力軸36の回転角度との差が所定範囲を超えた場合に外力の作用による出力軸の異常と判定する。【選択図】図1
