PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extensively photograph the peripheral region of a vehicle body by combining a reflection mirror with a camera.SOLUTION: A housing 12 is mounted on the side surface of a vehicle body 1, and a camera 14 and a reflection mirror 15 are mounted inside the housing 12. The camera 14 is provided with a viewing angle (θ0) as a specification value open toward the back of the vehicle, and the reflection mirror 15 is set within the scope of the viewing angle of the camera 14. The camera 14 directly photographs the back area of the vehicle body 1 within the scope of a direct photographing angle (θ1), and indirectly photographs the side area of the vehicle body 1 within the scope of a reflection photographing angle (θ2) of the reflection mirror 15. The image the camera 14 photographs is displayed on a monitor, and the image on the monitor includes a direct image and an indirect image the camera 14 photographs. The superimposed part of the direct image and the indirect image is corrected by image processing and a seamless continuous image is displayed on the monitor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】カメラに反射鏡を組み合わせて、車体の周辺域を広範囲に撮影する。【解決手段】車体1の側面にハウジング12を取り付け、ハウジング12の内側にカメラ14と反射鏡15を設ける。カメラ14は車体後方に向かって開く仕様値としての視野角(θ0)を備え、反射鏡15がカメラ14の視野角範囲内に設置される。カメラ14は直接撮影角度(θ1)の範囲内で車体1の後方域を直接的に撮影するとともに、反射鏡15の反射撮影角度(θ2)の範囲内で車体1の側方域を間接的に撮影する。カメラ14が撮影した映像はモニタに表示され、モニタの映像にカメラ14が撮影した直接像と間接像が含まれる。直接像と間接像の重合部を画像処理により補正し、モニタにシームレスな連続画像を表示する。【選択図】図2
