PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running assist system capable of preventing unnecessary notification at rainfall time.SOLUTION: A running assist system comprises: a detection unit detecting an object present in a detection range including an upward direction of a vehicle at preset detection timing; a determination unit determining whether a weather situation is a rainfall situation on the basis of a detection result of the detection unit; and an execution unit executing a preset unnecessary notification avoiding measure if the determination unit determines the rainfall situation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
