PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle equipped with safe nickel hydrogen storage batteries, in the vehicle even if no exhaust duct or exhaust fan is provided in a space where a storage battery module including many nickel hydrogen storage batteries is disposed, hydrogen concentration in the space does not exceed an explosion limit.SOLUTION: A vehicle according to an embodiment of the invention is equipped with, inside the vehicle, a storage battery module in which a plurality of nickel hydrogen storage batteries is connected in series. When the nickel hydrogen storage battery's capacity is expressed as X (Ah), and its number as N (pieces), a space volume Y (L) of the vehicle is designed to satisfy a relation of Y≥X×N×41.0. Accordingly, the hydrogen concentration in the vehicle does not exceed 3 vol%.

    【課題】多数のニッケル水素蓄電池を備える蓄電池モジュールが配置されている空間に排気ダクトや排気フアンを設けなくても、その空間の水素濃度が爆発限界を超えることがなく、安全なニッケル水素蓄電池を備える車両を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の一態様の車両は、複数個のニッケル水素蓄電池が直列接続された蓄電池モジュールが車内に搭載され、前記ニッケル水素蓄電池の容量をX(Ah)、その固数をN(個)としたとき、前記車内の空間体積Y(L)をY≧X?N?41.0の関係を満たすようにされている。これにより、車内の水素濃度は3vol%を超えることがなくなる。【選択図】図2
