PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of turn signal switch attachment work by reducing the number of part items and work man-hours.SOLUTION: A jig 5 which comprises: a circular base part 5a which is fit and attached to the outside of an end part 1a of a column tube 1; a cut-in edge 5b which is arranged at the base part 5a, forms notches 7 at a plurality of points of an end face of the end part 1a of the column tube 1 at the fitting and attachment of the base part 5a, and forms a caulked part 8 between the notches 7; and an abutment face 5c which is arranged at the base part 5a, abuts on the caulked part 8 at the fitting and attachment of the base part 5a, and bends and caulks the caulked part 8 into the inside of the column tube 1 is integrally arranged at the inside of a circular attachment part 3a of a turn signal switch 3.
