PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for measuring distance in turbid water and an underwater apparatus, capable of properly measuring a distance up to an object even in the turbid water.SOLUTION: In a method for measuring a distance in turbid water, acoustic waves are transmitted from acoustic transmitting means 20 to an object 10, the acoustic waves reflected from the object 10 are received by acoustic receiving means 30 provided having a predetermined measurement reference length L with the acoustic transmitting means 20, a scattering signal from a particle 11 and a reflection signal form the object 10 are discriminated from a signal of the acoustic waves received by the acoustic receiving means 30 and a distance up to the object 10 is derived on the basis of the reflection signal.

    【課題】濁水中においても対象物までの距離を的確に測定できる濁水中距離測定方法及び濁水中距離測定装置並びに水中機器を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の濁水中距離測定方法は、対象物10に対して音響送信手段20から音波を送信し、音響送信手段20と所定の計測基準長Lを有して設けた音響受信手段30により対象物10から反射した音波を受信し、音響受信手段30で受信した音波の信号から粒子11からの散乱信号と対象物10からの反射信号を判別し、反射信号に基づいて対象物10までの距離を導出する。【選択図】 図1
