PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust boot for a fluid pressure cylinder, and a rod protector, in which an interposing space for the dust boot is reduced.SOLUTION: A dust boot for a fluid pressure cylinder 10 enclosing a rod protruding from a cylinder body 20, comprises: a cylinder extending cylinder part 35C of a cylindrical shape extending from the cylinder body 20; a cylindrical rod extending cylinder part 35D extending from the rod; and a cylindrical bellows cylinder part 36 connecting the cylinder extending cylinder part 35C and the rod extending cylinder part 35D and folded to the inner side of the cylinder extending cylinder part 35C.
