PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce friction between a movable member and contact member when the movable member is moved.SOLUTION: In a vehicle door mirror device 10, the internal wall 32 of a mirror holder 30 is sandwiched between the support face 20A of an inner case 16 and the contact face 34A of a support pivot 34, and the peripheral wall 30A of the mirror holder 30 is disposed in pressure contact with the peripheral wall 14A of a case 14. When the mirror holder 30 is rotated, a support pivot 34 is displaced towards the rear of the vehicle, the internal wall 32 is released from its being sandwiched between the support face 20A and the contact face 34A, and the peripheral wall 30A is released from its pressure contact with the peripheral wall 14A. Accordingly, friction between the support face 20A and contact face 34A and the internal wall 32, and friction between the peripheral wall 14A and the peripheral wall 30A can effectively be reduced.

    【課題】移動部材が移動される際に移動部材と接触部材との摩擦力を効果的に低減する。【解決手段】車両用ドアミラー装置10では、ケースインナ16の支持面20Aとサポートピボット34の接触面34Aとの間にミラーホルダ30の内壁32が挟持されると共に、ケース14の周壁14Aにミラーホルダ30の周壁30Aが圧接されている。ここで、ミラーホルダ30が回動される際には、サポートピボット34が車両後側に変位されて、支持面20Aと接触面34Aとの間への内壁32の挟持が解除されると共に、周壁14Aへの周壁30Aの圧接が解除される。このため、支持面20A及び接触面34Aと内壁32との摩擦力及び周壁14Aと周壁30Aとの摩擦力を効果的に低減できる。【選択図】図3
