PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a morphing airfoil which can be wholly and greatly deformed by a lightweight and simple mechanism without the complication and upsizing of a structure, and which is excellent in airfoil area increasing effect and camber ratio increasing effect.SOLUTION: A morphing airfoil comprises a drive mechanism 120 which makes wing 100 divided into a plurality of wing elements in a wing chord direction and turned into a wing chord direction to be turned into a wing lattice, and which changes relative positions of the plurality of wing elements. The plurality of wing elements has the one central wing element 111, and the one or more movable wing elements 112a-112d that are arranged in front and rear positions, respectively. The drive mechanism 120 is configured to make the relative positions of the adjacent wing elements changeable.
