PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle operation estimation device and a loading vehicle capable of achieving both reduction of a load to estimate an operation mode and improvement of an estimation accuracy in the estimation of the operation mode of a vehicle body using a camera.SOLUTION: A vehicle operation estimation device 2 includes: a camera 50 for acquiring a two-dimensional image constituted of a plurality of pixels arranged along first and second coordinate axes corresponding to front-rear and right-left directions of the vehicle body; a first region extraction part 62A for extracting a first region corresponding to a place arranged at the left of the vehicle body from the two-dimensional image; a second region extraction part 62B for extracting a second region corresponding to the place arranged at the rear of the vehicle body from the two-dimensional image; a first displacement amount calculation part 63A for calculating a displacement amount of a subject in the first region in the direction parallel to a first coordinate axis; a second displacement amount calculation part 63B for calculating the displacement amount of the subject in the second region in the direction parallel to a second coordinate axis; and an operation mode estimation part 64 for estimating an operation mode of the vehicle body on the basis of the displacement amount of the subject in the first and second regions.

    【課題】カメラを用いた車両本体の動作態様の推定において、動作態様を推定するための負荷の低減と推定精度の向上との両立を図ることができる車両動作推定装置および荷役車両を提供する。【解決手段】車両動作推定装置2は、車両本体の前後および左右方向に対応する第1および第2座標軸に沿って並ぶ複数の画素で構成された二次元画像を取得するカメラ50と、車両本体の左方に並ぶ場所に対応する第1領域を二次元画像から抽出する第1領域抽出部62Aと、車両本体の後方に並ぶ場所に対応する第2領域を二次元画像から抽出する第2領域抽出部62Bと、第1座標軸に平行な方向における第1領域内の被写体の変位量を算出する第1変位量算出部63Aと、第2座標軸に平行な方向における第2領域内の被写体の変位量を算出する第2変位量算出部63Bと、第1および第2領域内の被写体の変位量に基づき車両本体の動作態様を推定する動作態様推定部64とを備える。【選択図】図2
