PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a winding apparatus having different attached size and outline size than before repairing while reusing a lot of devices.SOLUTION: When a no machine room elevator is repaired, a new winding apparatus 21 is arranged on an upper supporter 13 in a manner where a post repair suspension object 26 passes through a region between an existing cage side suspension object connecting part 16a and an existing balance weight side suspension object connecting part 16b when seen from just upper side. On the upper supporter 13, arranged are a post repair cage side suspension object connecting part 24 and a post repair balance weight side suspension object connecting part 25. After that, the post repair suspension object 26 is wound on a second cage pulley 11b, a first cage pulley 11a, a driving sheave 23 of a new winding apparatus 21 and a balance weight pulley 12. In addition, first end part and second end part of the post repair suspension object 26 is respectively connected to the post repair cage side suspension object connecting part 24 and the post repair balance weight side suspension object connecting part 25.

    【課題】本発明は、多くの機器を流用しつつ、取付寸法及び外形寸法が改修前とは異なる巻上機を設置することを目的とするものである。【解決手段】機械室レスエレベータを改修する場合、真上から見て、既設のかご側懸架体接続部16aと既設の釣合おもり側懸架体接続部16bとの間の領域を改修後の懸架体26が通るように、上部支持体13に新たな巻上機21を設置する。上部支持体13には、改修後のかご側懸架体接続部24及び改修後の釣合おもり側懸架体接続部25を設置する。この後、改修後の懸架体26を、第2のかご吊り車11b、第1のかご吊り車11a、新たな巻上機21の駆動シーブ23、及び釣合おもり吊り車12に巻き掛ける。また、改修後の懸架体26の第1の端部を改修後のかご側懸架体接続部24に、第2の端部を改修後の釣合おもり側懸架体接続部25にそれぞれ接続する。【選択図】図1
