PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to more suitably adjust a load compensated by a load compensation device.SOLUTION: In a load compensation device 1, a base B becomes a support body for the load compensation device 1. One end side of a lower link member L1 is rotatably connected to the base. An upper link member L2 is rotatably connected to the base at one end side thereof and constitutes a link parallel to the lower link member L1. A direct-acting support member L3 is rotatably connected to the other end sides of the lower link member L1 and the upper link member L2 respectively, and performs direct-acting support of a load-carrying platform S on which an article as a load acts. A third spring member C3 elastically supports the load-carrying platform S with respect to the direct-acting support member L3. A second spring member C2 performs telescopic motion in association with a length of telescopic motion of the direct-acting support member C3 according to a weight of the article acting on the load-carrying platform S, and generates an elastic force for compensating said weight.
