PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow straightening device capable of reducing air resistivity upon running of a vehicle with a simple structure without damaging cooling performance of an engine or cross-wind stability.SOLUTION: A flow straightening device 2 is mounted between a vehicle 1 bottom surface of the lower lateral side of a vehicle 1 and a road surface. The flow straightening device 2 includes a first flow straightening plate 4 located on the front side and a second flow straightening plate 5 adjoining to the rear side of the first flow straightening plate 4, the first flow straightening plate 4 and the second flow straightening plate 5 are respectively extended out from the inner side in right and left directions of the vehicle 1 to the outer sides so as to form a curve surface which is curved toward the rear side and a rear lateral edge part forms a surface along a lateral surface of the vehicle 1. A channel 6 along which air flows is formed between a back surface 4a of the first flow straightening plate 4 and a front surface 5a of the second flow straightening plate 5, a gap formed by the back surface 4a of the first flow straightening plate 4 and the front surface 5a of the second flow straightening plate 5 makes a width of the gap narrower as proceeding to the rear side and air passing through the gap quickens the flow rate because the channel is made to be narrower.

    【課題】エンジンの冷却性や横風安定性を損なうことなく、簡単な構造で車両の走行時の空気抵抗を低減し得る整流装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両1の下部側方の車両1底面と路面の間に整流装置2を取り付ける。整流装置2は、フロント側に位置する第一整流板4と、該第一整流板4のリヤ側に隣接する第二整流板5とを備え、該第一整流板4と該第二整流板5は、各々が車両1の左右方向内側から外側へ向かって張り出し、リヤ側へ向かって湾曲する曲面を形成し、リヤ側端部は車両1の側面に沿う面をなしている。第一整流板4の後面4aと第二整流板5の前面5aの間には空気の流れる流路6が形成され、第一整流板4の後面4aと第二整流板5の前面5aがなす隙間は、フロント側からリヤ側へ向かうにつれて幅が狭くなり、そこを通過する空気は、流路が狭められて流速が速くなるよう構成される。【選択図】図1
