PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a welding component which suppresses a deviation of a first workpiece from a second workpiece without using a fixture during welding in a welding component formed by welding the first workpiece to the second workpiece.SOLUTION: In a welding component related to this invention and a manufacturing method for the same, a manufacturing method for a steering member 100 (welding component) formed by welding a first workpiece such as an audio bracket 10b to a steering member body 20 (second workpiece) with a robot 210 actuated on the basis of previously taught data enables a hand robot to bring an extension part 12, provided in the first workpiece to extend the second workpiece, in the outer surface of the second workpiece while making the gripped first workpiece approach a position of welding to the second workpiece. When the extension part is brought in contact with the outer surface of the second workpiece, the extension part welds the first workpiece to the second workpiece while suppressing a positional deviation of the first workpiece from the second workpiece by clamping the steering member body.

    【課題】第1のワークを第2のワークに溶接して形成される溶接部品において、溶接の際に固定治具を使用せずに第1のワークの第2のワークに対するずれを抑制する溶接部品の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る溶接部品およびその製造方法において、あらかじめ教示されたデータに基づいてロボット210を動作させて、オーディオブラケット10b等の第1のワークをステアリングメンバ本体20(第2のワーク)に溶接して形成されるステアリングメンバ100(溶接部品)の製造方法であって、ハンドロボットは把持した第1のワークを第2のワークに溶接する位置に接近させながら第1のワークに設けられ第2のワークに向って延びる延在部12を第2のワークの外表面に当接させ、延在部を第2のワークの外表面に当接させた際に延在部はステアリングメンバ本体を挟持することによって第2のワークに対する第1のワークの位置ずれを抑制しながら第1のワークを前記第2のワークに溶接する。【選択図】図3
