PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-wheel drive vehicle control unit including a connection and disconnection mechanism connecting or disconnecting a power transmission path for transmitting part of power from a driving force source transmitted to main driving wheels via a transmission to sub-driving wheels, capable of suppressing the degradation in the durability of constituent components of the sub-driving-wheel-side power transmission path.SOLUTION: Since a rear-wheel-16-side power transmission path is disconnected at a time of switching driving ranges of a transmission 18, it is possible to avoid inputting a torque to the rear-wheel-16-side power transmission path at the time of switching ranges. It is, therefore, possible to suppress degradation in the durability of constituent components of the rear-wheel-16-side power transmission path.
【課題】変速機を介して主駆動輪へ伝達される駆動力源の動力の一部を副駆動輪へ伝達する動力伝達経路を断接する断接機構を備える四輪駆動車両の制御装置において、副駆動輪側の動力伝達経路の構成部品の耐久性低下を抑制する。【解決手段】変速機18の走行レンジ切替え時には後輪16側の動力伝達経路が遮断されているので、レンジ切替え時トルクが後輪16側の動力伝達経路へ入力されることが回避される。よって、後輪16側の動力伝達経路の構成部品の耐久性低下を抑制することができる。【選択図】図4
